2015 Jeep Cherokee to be offered with Active Drive II 4x4 System

2015 Jeep Cherokee in next week will add some of the most sophisticated systems like Active Drive II 4x4 system, low speed stop function, high speed crash warning system and forward collision warning system. The premium SUV will also have new shaped integrated dual exhausts with two special order options. The upgrades will be launched latest by this week without any extra charge.

 

The standard Jeep Cherokee 2.0 Longitude begins @ £25,495 (approximately Rs. 25 lakhs) and the Active Drive II Limited Trim Automatic is tagged with the price £37,195 (approximately Rs. 37 lakhs).

 

        

 

Active-Drive II is only available in Limited Trim Automatic Transmission cars as it provides additional off-road capability for jagged Cherokee 4x4. Active Drive II can be utilised by sophisticated Selec-Terrain dial inside the car. Active-Drive II has Hill-Descent control, low range gear for better control, good torque and neutral mode. Regarding the safety of SUV, automaker offered optional ADG Safety technology group and is available in the Limited automatic versions.

 

ADG safety technology has upgraded Forward Collision Warning with a low-speed stop function and high speed crash warning system. The system not only offers visual and audible warnings but also assists with the emergency stopping if the braking is not that strong adequate.

 

       

 

Jeep also offers two new special order options and they are “Cold Weather group” (only limited trim) and “Safety and Security group”. The Cold Weather group has heated steering wheel and the favourable all-weather floor mats and the Safety and Security group has Bi-Xenon headlamps, headlamp washer and rain sensitive windscreen wipers.
