Land Rover will be launching SW1 Special Editions Range Rover Evoque and the World’s first combined laser Head-up display (HUD) for the Range Rover Evoque lineup at 2014 Paris Motor Show. SW1 Special Edition Evoque will be first in series of ‘Inspired by Britain’ special editions from the Jaguar Land Rover’s victorious design team. While SW1 Special Edition Evoque will be available from mid-October while the Head-up display is available as an option in almost all the markets on Evoque lineup.
It will have two SW1 editions and they are namely monochrome and colourful. The monochrome SW1 special Edition Evoque is based on the pure body style and has the graphics and details presented in single colour. It comes with an option of Santorini Black, Fuji White and Corris Grey paint finishes along with black roof on second two colours, Fuji gloss whit 20 inches alloy wheels and tick decals. The interior is offered with Ebony upholstery, facia insert and door trim.
The colourful SW1 Special Edition Evoque is based on current Dynamic body style and will be provided in Fuji White, Santorini Black, Firenze Red and Corris Grey with contrast Fuji white roof and gloss Fuji white 20 inch alloy wheels. The rear spoiler and white door has feature Union Flag graphics while white tick decals adorn the bodywork.
Inside, this edition has Taurus Ebony leather upholstery, arm rests, door inserts and facia trim picked out with contrast cirrus stitching. Anodised red finish is applied to rotary shift controller and the shift paddles for models mated with nine- speed automatic transmission. While versions with manual transmission have unique themed gear lever insert.

These special editions are celebration of our Britishness. It is engineered and designed in Britain and we know that vibrates with our Global consumers”.
Range Rover Evoque will also be available with an advanced integrated laser HUD. It uses world first laser holographic techniques to project useful data directly on the vehicle’s windscreen. The laser Head-Up Display provides superior colour saturation, glaze and contrast compared to competent systems and all in small, light weight package.
The system is entirely configurable and customisable offers information like road speed, turn-by-turn navigation, gear position, cruise control set speed, traffic sign recognition and the Automatic Cruise Control status and includes warnings.
